Let’s try this again!

I haven’t been around much in the last year because I pretty much quit writing reviews of the books I have been reading. It wasn’t that I didn’t care. I was writing my reviews on Goodreads and then copying the reviews link to my blog so that it would bring over the book cover, rating and review. However, I was reviewing every book I read, and it seemed that no one on Goodreads was reading them. So I quit writing reviews for any book that I rated over 3 stars, and since most of the books I read get 3.5-4 star rating, I wasn’t writing reviews because I remember why I liked them.

Well , since it seems people are reading my blog, even if not my reviews on Goodreads, I am going to try to do a better job of writing the reviews. However, I am also going to start throwing in some devotional posts from time to time as well. Occasionally during my daily devotions I will have some thoughts I would like to share. Instead of starting a whole new blog just for that, I am going to just share them here. If it looks like I am going to start doing a lot of that type of writing, I will consider starting a new blog just for that.

In the meantime, I will try to do a better job of reviewing the books I reading.

Thanks for reading my blog,

  1. I’ll bet the authors were reading them. I’m glad you decided to continue. Best wishes.
